How we work
EDITORIAL
STANDARDS.
NO BLUSH makes adult topics easier to explore without pretending every question needs a lecture. These are the rules behind the work.
Adults only
The current site is written for adults. We do not publish sexualized material involving minors or people whose age is unclear.
Useful before impressive
An article should answer the real search, explain the important differences, and give the reader a useful next step. Tables, tools, illustrations, and charts need to add understanding, not just fill the page.
Evidence in proportion
We check claims that are medical, legal, statistical, or likely to cause harm if wrong. Everyday community language may not have one official definition, so we explain common usage plainly and avoid dressing opinion up as science.
No fake numbers
We do not invent survey results, popularity percentages, expert quotes, or decorative statistics. Search-volume charts identify their source and are not presented as measures of how many people practice or enjoy something.
Original work
Competitors and sources can reveal questions worth answering. Our structure, wording, visuals, and tools must be our own. When a factual idea comes from a source, we link it where it helps the reader.
Corrections and updates
Language changes and mistakes happen. Readers can use our corrections page to flag a factual error, broken source, unclear definition, or accessibility problem. We review material changes and update the page when a correction is warranted.
Privacy by default
We prefer browser-side tools that do not require accounts or save intimate answers. What the current public site collects, and what its infrastructure may process, is explained on the privacy page.
